Apolima - Bracelet

Appx. 2 hours, minimum class size is 5 students.  All supplies are provided, finish a bracelet to take home with you!  The idea is that students will get an intro to cutting, placing and stitching feathers.  Consider this class first if you are wanting to make a Humupapa or Hatband.

Lei Hulu - Feather Lei

Appx. 6 weeks with 3 meetup times, minimum class size is 4.  All supplies are provided including a container to store your hulu.  All 3 styles are different; while no experience is necessary, this will be a commitment to finish.  Students will learn to cut, prep, place and secure their feathers to their chosen Lei Hulu design.  Not easy but very rewarding!

Kahili

Approximately 2 hours, this class is a minimum of 5 students. A Kahili is similar to a royal standard.  It acts as a physical representation that denotes royalty, such as a crest.  All supplies will be provided to create your own mini Kahili.  Students will learn to place and wrap feathers on to a real wooden stem.  This is a great intro to hulu class that is enjoyable for most ages.
